Moderator position vacant

Since I have taken over after Karen resigned her admin duties I am in need of a Moderator to check over the posts made in my absence.
This place is in no way a busy one so there is not alot to do.
Moderator should theoretically come on every couple days if possible just to make sure we keep on top of the spam idiots and to make sure no arguments etc happen with the few people who do post.
Also help find useful links that may be of assistance to people as a number of people come here just to peruse the information.
I would prefer someone with experience (if possible) to help me.

Hi Feathered Kid (Justin)..

I'd be willing and able to be a Moderator. I'm one of the two Administrator's on the Conure Crazy forum now (http://s11.zetaboards.com/Conure_Crazy/index/) and have been for almost a year and a half (been a member since November 2006). I'm also a member of many other Parrot-type forums (see bookmarks below):

I'm not super active on most of them (except Conure Crazy..

). I also just noticed at least one of those sites is no longer valid (dead link). I guess I need to check sites more ofter.

I'm home all day (take care of my elderly Dad), so I'd be able to check in here at least once a day (probably more).

Let me know either by email or here if you'd like me to help. I'm here, if needed.

On a side note, when I try to view the Forum Rules, it says 'Sorry, but you do not have permission to access to this area.' I hope my signature picture isn't too big.

I'm not on this site often, but I'm willing to take up a moderator position. I run a collection proboards sites of my own and am a member to another select few, so I have plenty of experience.

However, my internet hasn't been very reliable as of late . . .

You're right when you say this forum isn't very active. Fortunately, that means there isn't much spam to watch out for either. I haven't seen a spam post yet.

I'll be checking in here at least once daily (probably more). Hopefully, we can get more members and a bit more activity too.

Sorry ebbeling, I do not have the ability to read emails through the email address. I am hoping Karen realises that and contacts me again to remind me of the password so that I can change the backup email address. Taking over here came with it's own email and photobucket account.
If my memory serves I asked people to put their name here.
Hopefully this place here will grow. However it is over 1 year old already with not many members so I can not ever see it becoming much of a forum. I will give it until the end of the year to prove itself.

All I can do is apologise for not getting your mail message and hope that you forgive me.

I can send an email to every registered user through the admin board, that is why it was in your email box not in your inbox here.

I have left a voicemail message with someone I hope is a relative of Karen's and she calls me back. It would have been easier if she hadn't deleted her account though!
